God's Failed Challenge?

God's Failed Challenge? PDF Author: Dale Morse
Publisher: Page Publishing Inc
ISBN: 1642982830
Category : Fiction
Languages : en
Pages : 272
Book Description
Is Donald Trump God’s way of showing us how much do-do we are in? This is the burning question as Hal, a space alien, assembles a colorful crew of characters, including some other space aliens and an NSA analysis, this, so as to tell the tale of Johnny Leroy Ronn. Much of the plot grows out of the notion that God itself expects the people of planet Earth to help out with keeping our planet cool, this, by way of moving on unto overunity/overperformance energy production. Many of the events of Hal’s exciting tale are based on the author’s real life. For example, in 1982, in both the book and in real life, a government agent threatened our protagonists, “If you ever take another job from which Social Security is withheld, we will kill you.” Indeed, unto this day, the real author of this book (as portrayed by the character Johnny Leroy Ronn) continues to battle the government’s efforts to suppress his work. However, with the publishing of this book, after thirty-eight years of poverty and harassment, his quantitative gravity (QG) theory, which appears near the end of this book, does finally see the light of day. Morse’s QG is the real thing; it can be expected to augment/replace Albert Einstein’s general relativity, and it can be expected to enable our scientists to address some existential issues related to overunity/overperformance energy production for the first time. Put another way, this book is going to knock the socks off the science community.

The Wind, the Fountain and the Fire

The Wind, the Fountain and the Fire PDF Author: Mark Barrett
Publisher: Bloomsbury Publishing
ISBN: 1472968360
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 192
Book Description
Scripture, and especially the Book of Psalms, has always formed the substance of the daily prayer of Christian monks and nuns. Monastic men and women spend more time among the scriptures each day than in most other activities. How do such regular interactions with the texts of the Old and New Testaments help us renew our Christian imaginations; how might these reflective encounters enable all of us to discover the wind of the Spirit, the fountain of living water and the fire from which God speaks, within the printed pages of our Bibles? In The Wind, the Fountain and the Fire, Mark Barrett, a Benedictine monk of Worth Abbey, offers a Lenten pathway through scripture, opening the gateway of sacred imagery as a mode of prayerful reflection. For each week of Lent he has selected a different image: the Dust; the Mountain; the Well; the Light and the Tomb. In these richly imagined biblical symbols we are invited to find keys which can unlock both our experience of scripture and our understanding of our own hearts.

The Palgrave International Handbook of Youth Imprisonment

The Palgrave International Handbook of Youth Imprisonment PDF Author: Alexandra Cox
Publisher: Springer Nature
ISBN: 3030687597
Category : Social Science
Languages : en
Pages : 642
Book Description
This handbook brings together the knowledge on juvenile imprisonment to develop a global, synthesized view of the impact of imprisonment on children and young people. There are a growing number of scholars around the world who have conducted in-depth, qualitative research inside of youth prisons, and about young people incarcerated in adult prisons, and yet this research has never been synthesized or compiled. This book is organized around several core themes including: conditions of confinement, relationships in confinement, gender/sexuality and identity, perspectives on juvenile facility staff, reentry from youth prisons, young people’s experiences in adult prisons, and new models and perspectives on juvenile imprisonment. This handbook seeks to educate students, scholars, and policymakers about the role of incarceration in young people’s lives, from an empirically-informed, critical, and global perspective.
